Maytag Neptune Drying Center - heating element part

My Maytag Neptune Drying Center (MCE8000AYW) has stopped heating in the lower unit. My neighbor fixed it once by reconnecting 2 wires that had come loose but it's stopped heating again and I need to replace the part. Part #31001587 was suggested by this site, but my neighbor doesn't think it looks like the complete part I need. He says there should be some plugg-ins for wires but the picture of the part doesn't show any. Is this the part I need?

Hi, sorry to hear of your dryer trouble. That is NOT the part you need. The heating element is no longer available as a complete assembly. It is only available as restring kit that will require some assembly to install it into the existing heater bracket assembly. The restring kit is available at the link below.

Heater Restring Kit $48.51

Thanks for your reply. I kind of got sidetracked and forgot about asking the forum for help. I've ordered the part today.

Thanks again for your help,
